I would love to see Urban Myer. That would make for some great Iron Bowls. Kiffin would be a great choice for Auburn, but not sure they have the guts to roll the dice on him.

Scholarship limit is normally 85

In 2012 USC was limited to 75.

14 of those guys were former walk ons given scholarships.

The others included a kicker punter and long snapper Kiffin signed in his initial class to shore up those positions because of the sanctions.

Realistically that preseason #1 team during the height of Oregon and Stanford in the Pac 12 had 58 scholarship players.

They had multiple games that season where they traveled around 56 scholarship players counting the walk-ons and special teamers due to injuries
