I haven't liked our players for years. I didn't even watch Alabama football in the SECCG or the playoffs last year. Not even a single minute. I didn't watch the majority of games in the regular season either.
They've been displaying selfish bullshite attitudes since NIL started. We don't lack talent, we lack players with heart.
If Saban hadn't retired I wouldn't even be posting here now or watching the season this year. I only started paying attention again out of curiosity on how DeBoer would do.
DeBoer hasn't cleaned it up thus far either, that's really the big knock on him thus far IMO. However, at the same time with the unrestricted free agency it's undermining the coaches authority. Which is why Saban retired. It's a problem Saban didn't want to deal with, and I don't blame him.
Look at all the players talking shite to Vandy after every play. Then you had Chapman come into the Tennessee stadium with a cigar in his mouth etc.
I don't really like those kinds of players, do you?

Not really. Saban and Reese were just smart enough to call simpler schemes. Saban has repeatedly said the playbook was limited.

Record has nothing to do with it, I was an Alabama fan when we went 3-8.
I told you the reason, I don't like the players and haven't for some time. They are all selfish and entitled mercenaries who only give a shite about what can be done for them.
I don't follow any of the newer players in the NFL either. Just not a fan.
When was the last time you heard about an Alabama football player with a big work ethic, tons of heart and puts in the effort? Those are the guys I'm a fan of. Ingram, Julio, Hurts, Allen, Henry, and many more than I can name.
I've been a fan of this sport for half a century. Players no longer commit to schools, they commit to NIL deals. It sucks, the game is dumbed down and it's just not what it use to be the majority of my life.
Everyone is dealing with it, not just Alabama. Saban said frick this shite, and I don't blame him at all. I'm curious to see how DeBoer is able to handle it because nobody was better at managing success than Saban.
Plus, the bright side to the losses is watching newer fans heads explode. The humility isn't a bad thing for the fans or the coaches/players who think they are entitled to wins because of the name Alabama. I've seen a lot less trash talking from the players since Vandy.

Coaching made him throw almost every ball 3-5 yards off target yesterday?
Did you watch the game? It was a game of terrible OL and QB play on both sides of the ball. That's normal for Tennessee this year, but Milroe just shite the bed if you compare it to some of his better games this season.
