I didn't like Avatar. I thought the graphics and sound and 3D was all badass but I didn't think the story was that interesting or original.

Flippin BADASS movie.

Visually, that was the absolute best movie I've ever seen in my life.

This. I can't remember too much of the plot details. But the visuals were amazing.

Saw it at 7:30 in southaven.
I wish our planet looked like that.
The plot was decent.
Had a nice little liberal, hippie agenda.
Acting was par.

And the scenery was paradise.
I forgot I was in a theatre for a couple of hours.
apologies to my ladyfriend.
People clapped afterwords.

Really? You wish our planet was covered in harsh jungles filled with snake-dog things and hammerhead rhinos? frick that, I'll take industrialization over living in a fricking tree any day.

Why, in our society, is it such a virtue now to shun industrialization and technology?

I love how they called the navi(sp) "hostiles."

Yeah, the blatant Iraq war allegory was a bit insulting, despite the fact that I agreed with the point.

Could some of you reb fans explain why you all have players from South Panola in your avatars? I know Panola is a school in MS. but is it a hot bed for Ole Miss now?

South Panola had the longest win streak in the country for a while and had five straight state championships in the highest division of football. It's always been a hotbed for Ole Miss It's 20 minutes away and in the only town besides Oxford that gas stations will openly display Ole Miss memorabilia.
Last year we had four players drafted. Michael Oher was from Memphis, Mike Wallace was from New Orleans.
Jamarca Sanford and Peria Jerry both played for South Panola.
two guys drafted in the same year. Same college, same high school.
This year Ole Miss guard John Jerry an (SPU alum) is going to be drafted.

other notable SPU alum include Eddie Strong, Dwayne Rudd, Derrick Pegues, ect.

Great ball player.
Would have been drafted if his dumb arse would have gone to Ole Miss like his cousins.

he was a projected 2nd-3rd round pick but he hurt his ankle in the egg bowl his senior year and that severely screwed him for the combine.
