I get what you are trying to do but you are trying too hard. it's not all some big conspiracy my man. yall aren't LSU fans

Uh our program is far from solid. And no I’m not out to defend Dan Mullen. I just find it hard to believe a coach would just walk up to players and tell them to lie to the Ncaa.
I mean if Mullen was the guy paying players out of his pocket then I might could see that to save his own arse. But to risk a coaching career on the other side would make no sense.

not trying to do anything, really. We just lost a key series at home to our bitter rivals...stings a bit, is all. I love my school every bit as much as you love yours. just been a bad night.

They were caught red handed on draft night with texts about payments between staff and players. Soon after the head coach was caught in a scandal involving escorts. In Dan Mullen's wildest conspiracy dreams he couldn't compete with that.

And that’s all I’m saying. Ole Miss dodged the first investigation because they couldn’t find hard enough evidence. OM hid it well. Then on draft night Tunsil opened up a can of worms and the public all over the country wanted answers. It forced the Ncaa to go back and dig deeper.
You have to understand that Ole Miss out of nowhere was cherry picking top recruits in multiple states. The red flags were already there and the public in general felt that the Ncaa gave Ole Miss a free pass.
If Tunsil doesn’t say something on draft night, I promise you the Ncaa would have left it alone and the Ole Miss staff and boosters would still be doing the same thing. I mean they were beating out top teams cherry picking recruits.

Tunsil didn't open up the can of worms...someone posted the video with the gas mask on twitter 15 minutes before the draft started. then right after the 10th pick, another twitter post came out, with a text message about his light bill needing to be paid.
it was some rather shady and devious shite went down, remember? cost the young man about 25 million dollars that night.

then in an interview after he was selected he admitted to taking pay from an ole miss coach

But Tunsil was asked by a reporter if he accepted money on draft night and he said “yeah”

was that before or after rosebowl steve Robertson had began writing his book? was that before or after he vowed to burn the program down? it doesn't really matter anymore, does it. lol

Look man, I’m not blaming Tunsil for anything. The kid wanted money and got it. I never blame the recruits, I blame boosters and ESPECIALLY a staff that does it. That part , once verified was a damn outrage!

Steve Robertson didn’t burn down Ole Miss, come on man. He did find something everyone else missed and that was phone calls to an escort service. Did you know he held on to that for a while because he didn’t want to hurt a marriage? Instead of going public, he passed it on to the attorney.

gonna be a pretty day tomorrow, blue skies for baseball. freshman gunnar hoglund on the mound for the rebels. hes pretty good, we gotta good chance to take one tomorrow.

Glad we got passed the Ncaa stuff. Yes tomorrow is baseball and I have no bad ill will towards you. It’s the fans who always pay the price for what others do.

I could not imagine being a state fan and getting upset at other state fans for not politely conversing with this idiot. Why would you say Leo Lewis is selling crack on a corner somewhere you racist piece of shite? He’s still playing linebacker at MSU kicking your shitty team’s arse. Keep hanging on to that ridiculous lawsuit, Yancy. What a joke. 35-3.

You really need to find a better boogy man than that asshat, anyone whom was outmaneuvered by Rosebowl should just go in a dark corner and end it all.

So you don’t like Steve. That’s fine but he calls it like it is. Sounds to me that you are the one with a problem...,,asshat.

By the way, a lot of our fans on here were saying we were going to blow it or that our bullpen sucks yada yada yada.
That’s just me using my reverse jinx. If I get too positive we end up losing

to your point, about 5 years ago when MSU and Ole Miss were undefeated going into late in the season in football, that was very fun. The local radio shows were great and the state was going nuts. Yep, that was fun.
I really wanted that season to have the egg bowl decide the West. Alas, the football gods would have none of it
