That 9th inning by Dansby Swanson was the single greatest clutch inning I've ever witnessed in person. Then after the game he tweats this:

quote:

@LieutenantDans7: That one was for you Dai-Jon.

Classy. He might have left the staff on bad terms but clearly he still had friends amongst the athletes.

You do know what's going on here, right? I'm not going to yell at you or anything because I just assume you don't know the situation. People make mistakes.

That transfer and throw was the single greatest transfer and throw I've ever seen. Throw was obviously awesome but oh my god....I've never seen someone that quick.

Dai-Jon Parker was a basketball player for Vandy from 2011-2014 before transferring to University of Indianapolis. He drowned Thursday during an inner-tubing accident.

He was a former Vandy basketball player who transferred out last year and drowned on Thursday. So your response wasn't really appropriate.

Classy move by Swanson. I heard about the tubing accident on the radio yesterday here in Lexington.

Swanson is a shortstop, not an outfielder. Very special player.

He's a freaking stud. Definitely the #1 pick. Seems like a great kid too.
