Dane Brugler (draft analyst for the Athletic) thinks Milroe's handsize may be the reason..

he's inconsistent as much as anything else.

Milroe's handsize is under 9 inches. Don't think there is any current starting QB in the NFL with handsize that small.

Kenny Pickett's handsize was 8 and 3/4, which is the same as Milroe.

Some other QBs handsize for comparison:

Burrow 9
Stetson 10
Tua 10
Jayden Daniels 9 and 3/8
Caleb W. 9 and 3/4
Penix 10 and 1/2
Fromm 8 and 7/8
Mahomes 9 and 1/4
J. Allen 10 and 1/8
Lamar 9 and 1/2
Dart 9 and 1/2
Gabriel 9
B Young 9 and 3/4
Stroud 10

His hand size is why he can’t read a defense?

He was specifically referencing accuracy when throwing the football.

Don't think they get too in depth with reading defenses in Mobiile. That's something you see on film.

You already knew his hands were small?

Never head it. They seemed shocked by it given his overall size.

Couple of notes here.

First are you referencing length or span?

The average male is just above 7” of length.

Even at 9, that may be smaller than some of those you mentioned, but it’s well Above average.

I mean, even Shaq hand size was 10.25. I am not saying that he’s a good QB or will be one, but this has nothing to do with his future.

What are your hand size? Here’s how to tell if yours are big. The average male should put both fist back to back and still see half of their dick.

How do they measure hand size?

Of course we're talking span here.

Talking the average man's handsize as if it has nothing to do with playing QB in the NFL, is like saying an NBA draft pick is plenty tall if he's 6 foot since that's taller than the average male.

The average QB in the NFL has a handsize of 9.5 plus.

Again, there are no starters right now with smaller than 9inch hands.

The NFL measures hand size by using a tape measure to measure from the tip of a player's thumb to the tip of their pinky finger. The player's hand should be outstretched.

But the average male isn't playing pro football

Basketball it’s typically span, so you can palm a whole ball. Football and baseball it’s by length.

No, that's incorrect. It's span. Plenty of info on this.

Honestly, are you just trying to see how often you can get me to reply to you?

This info is easily obtainable and been talked about for years.

The 9 inch thing came up with Tyler Wilson back in the day. There’s definitely a stigma around the shorties even if they are growers and not showers.

Only player to ever start a game at qb with smaller hands than Milroe is Taysom Hill.

That is a very interesting comp. Could he play that kind of role?

Any excuse in the world to make a victim out of Milroe...Here is Milroe's issue, his brain capacity is too small and he is delusional because he has been fed lies all his life by enablers. Bottomline: He doesn't have the skills to play the position.

How would this be making him a victim?

Is saying a QB is a pocket passer and has no real running ability making him a victim?

This makes no sense. He's not a victim because he has physical limitations.
