Agree with this but I'm not sure I blame schools for lawyering up.

UGA has been hammered every time when they've "begged for mercy" from the NCAA (
see Todd Gurley or AJ Green signing incidents) as opposed to lawyering up (see JFF signing incident)

Players are granted immediate btransfer eligibility when they hire dirt bag attorney Tom Mars but others who have valid reasons (see Luke Ford) get denied eligibility

Bottom line:It pays to laywer up.
