Florida overpaid. Mullen is good for a place like MSU, but he's a bad fit for a program like UF with high expectations. Going head to head with FSU, Miami, and all the other schools who heavily recruit the State of Florida will prove to be out of his league.

I'll bet on our current position as opposed to yours. For that natty AU had to pay for it with two lousy Gene seasons and they're locked into a guy who has yet to put back to back good/great years together. In five years, you won't be able to use that argument any more.

I read this as him citing Mullen’s record against Spurrier, am I missing something? Of course SOS won a bunch of games against SEC championship coaches.
