I will believe that an SEC coach will be hired from another school in conference when it happens. It's been too long to be coincidence, what, 17 years now? Probably at least 40-50 HC hires in that time?

Arkansas is just as shitty as Mississippi, don't toot your own horn. Plus, he has a knack for making Arky his bitch, so I doubt you'd ever be in consideration.

I don't think you're basing the opinion of either school within the last 10 years. Been to either since then? Thought not.

I think next year or two could be a huge, career wise, for Mullen.

1) If he does well and stays 3 more years, I could see him having a long lasting career and retire at state as tGOAT.

2) If he does do well over the next couple of years, I think he could be lured by a blue blood with a bunch of $$$. I don't think he'll go to another SEC school though. Potential schools, IMO (assuming he does well): Texas, Ohio St., or Penn St.,

3) he does mediocre and buys himself 3-5 more years to making a lateral move in a different conference. Any ACC/Big 10 school would work

4) he does horrible over the next two-three years and finds himself being kicked out the door

ETA: I think he's done enough to at least have 3 more years at state.

He supposedly doesn't kiss boosters asses very well. He's good with the normal Joe fan and that's fine at MSU. When he was hired, the big boy boosters at MSU were getting swooned by Stansbury.

There are some big programs that won't work well at.

Not anymore. We've spent our SEC welfare check well.

Dear Pigfeet,
how many games has arkansas won vs M-State in the last 4 years?

Have you even been in the top 10 in that time?

I'll save you a google search and remind you that M-State was #1 last year.

You didn't answer the second part. Have you ever even been inside State or OM's facilities? We know the answer, but still. Look, the bottom line is that Arky is not on LSU or AU level like you originally posted. Enjoy your life with Bert, and we'll enjoy our annual win vs Arky.

I don't understand your point, I agree that Mullen is the better coach and he deserves a better program like Arkansas or LSU.

My point is..

MSU is already a better program than Arkansas.

Let that sink in.

Hey Bro, I'm a State Grad but also a realist. Mullen is a smart man and he has lost 2 straight to the reverend. Now the Black Bears have expanded their Meth/Drug operation and pulling in great recruits. Danny Boy knows he could win 8-9 games a year but lose to the preacher and he's Gone.

Needs to be at a school that recruits itself. Would have been a better fit at Miami than richt IMO

Then Auburn would be the worst place to go.
