Damn. I come home and take a nap. Wake to find, Les was offered the Arky job, Tulane and ECU going to Big East, USM fired their coach, and now Bro Wallace wins the Conerly Trophy? I missed a lot.

When Dan takes us to our 4th straight bowl game next year he will have done something that Jackie never was able to do.

OBRebel, you can't deny that Jackie did take Mississippi State to Atlanta and the SEC title game.
If Freeze is as good as you guys make him out to be he should have no problems making it there in the next couple of years.

I feel like that's gonna be pretty hard to do, not a flame. USCe comes on the schedule, that's a likely loss, and then OK St could be another easy loss. Say you lost both of those and things went the same as last year, that puts you at 6-6, and then there's the chance of Auburn or Arky improving under new coaching and either one of them could knock you out of a bowl.
Of course OM could easily lose, and any of those teams above you could probably beat (sans USCe), but my point is is that y'all could very well have a losing season.

Is that the Ole Miss excuse for NEVER making it, or are you downplaying MSUs journey into rare air for a MS football team. I'm confused.. (not really)
