The planets had to align for you to take us down this year in the fashion you did. Generational talents at the TE/WR/QB position. Implosion of QB position at UGA. Covid mismanagement by the Gators leading to our KY game getting pushed to the week prior to TCP, resulting in 5 defensive starters being lost.
I stand by my opinion. I REALLY hope you keep a coach who hates recruiting and is putting out NFL feelers as we speak. Good luck!

Nah, I just think you guys sound like some little bitches making excuses after you guys never gave Florida excuses. It was always: "Kirby is 3 - 0 vs. Mullen", and when people asked if it might have something to do with him inheriting a Florida team that went 4 - 7 or while he was coaching at pretty much the worst job in the SEC at Mississippi State, you guys didn't want to hear it.
So guess what? I don't want to hear it. I don't want to hear about you guys "stockpiling talent" wasn't enough to make it a game. You guys got your big mouths punched, take it like men and stop making excuses.

They haven't won shite in 40+ years. Not since their only generational talent left.

If UF had ever been as decimated as UGA was in 2020 Jax, and you wanted to claim it made a difference in a "close" game, I would acknowledge that factor. Makes you sound like a little bitch to refuse to do so.

I remember your long list of players who were out by November of that 2017 season. No doubt it impacted some close losses for UF that season. You knew it then, so quit being so disingenuous.

[quote]Coaches fail, especially young coaches. Bill Belichick was fired for goodness sake. Not everyone is Urban Meyer and Nick Saban. Gary Pinkel, easily Mizzou’s greatest coach of all time, had losing records 3 out of his first 4 seasons. There are many circumstances to why coaches don’t succeed at first and Texas has had a culture problem within there administration and players for over a decade now.
The acceptance of winning now at all costs has blinded a lot of people into not understanding the big picture. The vast majority of coaches have failed at a position and come back to do great things. If Herman had success at Houston of all places, he can have success again.
Recruiting was always an issue at Mizzou. That is why Mizzou gets blown out a lot of times against top teams. Drinkwitz is Mizzou chance to make the change and get 4* and 5* recruits to Mizzou. That will help a lot to compete against top teams on the field.
Then you have Nick Saban being a HC at MSU and that is hard to get top recruits to go there. Huge difference! Same thing for Mizzou. Drinkwitz is starting to change that and this might be Mizzou chance to compete against top teams in the SEC regularly.
