he has had y'all in NY6 bowls every year, won 2/3 of those, and has a 76% win rate so far. I'd say he's doing really well.

Gator fans gonna run off a guy who has got them to 3-straight NY6 bowl games.
He’s got some deficiencies but he’s at worse the 3rd best coach in the SEC imo.

He's 29-9 (19-7) and depending on this year's poll will have finished in the Top 10-12 all 3 seasons and gone to 3 NY6 bowls

It's easier to hate a coach that gives you blue balls than one that doesn't even get you hard in the first place. You can live with failure, but almost getting there and never popping is probably the worst feeling.

It's not tho
His while is problem is offense for a long time
Are yall just ignoring the legs that will be added to the QB? Good RBs coming back too
Emory coming out ready to go.
Grantham its sink or swim

Its 3 years in and he hasn't even had a running QB
He has all sec QB already and heisman finalist

Also Ant Richardson might be that dude that cam Newton type
Losing by 6 to Bama after the LSU game and beating Georgia by 16
How is not progressing from last yr. Idc where we finish this yr covid yr was a bitch got all games changed around n shite
This sound silly af but alright peace yall

I'll go against the grain here for a moment:
While he has won a lot of games, he's also showing that there were some legitimate concerns about stubbornness, which is what usually leads to the downfall of coaches. All great coaches adjust fire and acknowledge when the game is changing around them. A perfect example is Saban.
The guy is always changing, resisting it here and there but his day is never "done", the model is never "set". That wins championships.
In the last three years:
Mullen stuck with Franks even though Trask was clearly better.
He took Emory Jones over Matt Corral, even though Corral is clearly better.
He has failed to fire several assistant coaches who were clearly not working. English wasn't working from year one and it took the worst defense in 70 years to do it.
The Offensive Line is still a giant pile of dogshit for running the ball, supposedly his specialty.
The DC has not been fired nor asked to move on, and as stated: This is the worst defense in 70 years.
So yes, going to NY6 bowls is fun. That is never the goal of a Florida coach, in his own words he wants National Championships. He will never get those if he continues to be egotistical/hardheaded.

It would be nice if we had that Grantham, now he's just a nutless eunuch who never blitzes the house on third and long. We just sit in soft zone, drop eight and hope the QB makes a mistake.
If he actually did blitz on third and long, we'd probably improve over this limpwristed playcalling.

Corral didnt wanna play in his offense him and Elijah moore started talking that was it
And they made a great team together. Moore was a beast this yr

It's like yall forgot the D last 2 years. Not that I'm a big fan of Grantham.
Had no spring practice
Got down 14 to Georgia won by 16
Got 18 or 21? to Bama lost by 6
Agree with some of yall but going to the playoffs or winning the sec with this D. Woulda been a fricking miracle

You’ve gotta admit that the collapse at the end of the year in which they have all of those playmakers on offense was pretty epic.

Nah Brah
in case you're new to this whole thing. Agents are good at their jobs. If they float the rumor to an AD that Dan is getting offered an NFL job and Florida needs to offer Dan X for him to stay, then they do it every. single. time. Why? Because what is Florida going to do in mid-January if calling Mullen's bluff doesn't work? Risk trying to find a head coach when there are none left to hire this late? That's what happened with Tennessee when they had to hire Dooley after Lane Kiffin jumped ship on January 12. That's what happened, but worse, when Alabama had to hire Mike Shula in May of 2003 after Mike Price thought it was a good idea to use the company credit card to pay for strippers.
I hate that agents have ADs by the balls, but that's just how things are. We dealt with that bullshite for years with Miles. Agent wants to float a rumor Les is going to Arkansas? Let's extend him and raise his salary and buyout.
Regardless, Mullen has done a lot better than anyone since Urban. Would you really want to gamble right now and tell him to pound sand?
