There is so much wrong with Plaschke's article that I don't know even where to begin. I will start on a small note: The 3 best quarterbacks in the NFL call Tennessee, Purdue, and Michigan their alma mater.
I thought the same thing.

quote:No doubt they have a better resume, but they still haven't beaten any currently ranked teams other than VT, who was really never as good as people think. I'd probably take Stanford, but I'm not sure.
Stanford v Arkansas

Oregon St v South Carolina
South Carolina should win, but it depends on which South Carolina team shows up.

Cal v Georgia
I may take Cal at Berkeley, but I'll take Georgia in Athens or at a neutral site.

These casual Pac10 fans who jump on the bandwagon have no idea what's in store for them

They will be casually incensed, as only casual fans can be, if Oregon loses.
Then they will casually go about their business, but casually angrier than usual.
I read two articles from the Oregonian (I believe) that were instructing the people how to act like a Duck fan. The title of one article was How to be a duck fan and act like you have been all along and the other was what you need to know about the ducks. Something along those lines. Then the articles went on to inform of the Oregon program and this season.
Can't really imagine that being necessary in the SEC.

quote:I just want to remind you that you lost to an ACC school before pointing out that I believe based on watching these teams play, that is how it would play out. The only one I kinda struggled with was Arizona vs. Florida, but I have no problem saying the Beavers would smother the Cocks.
You picked all 5 Pac 10 schools in these matchups. I just want you to be aware of your buffoonery.

Can't really imagine that being necessary in the SEC.
The fans, in my opinion, are the best thing about the SEC.

Is he not right about that part? Manning, Brees, and Brady? Brady I don't think is top 3 talent wise, but no one cares. The other two, who's better, just on pure talent/ability?

As an LA native, I can say that the rose bowl is a shithole and the coliseum is a shite hole in a shite hole neighborhood. This guy is a fricking idiot.

That's why Kiffin's where he needs to be. Anyone who can't even eat breakfast and "talk football" is a chump.
