Tupelo, MS —
Wednesday the Lee County coroner confirmed that the body of former MSU defensive tackle PJ Jones was the one that was recovered from a lake at the Indian Hills subdivision north of Tupelo on Monday

Officials do not suspect foul play.

Former MSU receiver De'runnya Wilson was also tragically killed last month in Birmingham, AL.

PJ, a Tupelo native, was one of the top ranked defensive linemen in the country coming out of Tupelo High School in 2011.

He played in 45 career games making 27 starts for the Bulldogs. He just 27 years old.
