When they couldn't raise the money for Cal's buyout. Then they couldn't raise the money for Oates' buyout. Then they couldn't offer enough to snatch Drew or even get Pitino interested.
But damn, they went and got a Dollar General Coach.
Now I see why Cal was upset about them giving money to the FB program. They didn't have enough to go around.

They were super excited to save "muh 30 million buyout".
