I will take that to mean he will be running for his life this year.

Needs more stamina for 56 yard TD runs.

What do you guys think?

After the first practice they asked him about the weight loss. He said something along the lines of, "well first of all, I haven't lost any weight."

I would say most starting QB's get dinged up during the course of the season. It's a tough position. Especially if you are a running QB.

The real deal heisman type guys, the phenoms, don't miss much time. I'm talking SEC players and I don't think any missed a game.

Tebow got concussed, and all the talk the two weeks after, was about that hit and how he would do coming off the bye. He came out and beat LSU by running dive plays and passing for nearly 70% at 8.4 ypa and a TD.

Newton had an injured back in the National Championship Game and was still able to put up 265 yards and 2 TDs through the air with 65 more yards on the ground.

Manziel got hurt against Auburn and it looked pretty rough, but came back in and damn near won the game. Put up over 450 yards and 4 TDs through the air with another 50 yards and a TD on the ground.

Heisman level SEC guys are tough as nails and still play outstanding despite injury.

I see Prescott and Dobbs as two of those phenom types that will be tough through injury. Dobbs had a 104 carries in 6 games behind a marshmallow OL (where I believe he never slid one time). The guy looked fine and dandy. He's a tough SOB just like Prescott.

I love to see guys like that at QB.

Perhaps he tested positive for supplements after the guy in Texas who was supplying them got busted by the feds and now Dak can no longer use them. No longer able to build up the muscle like in prior years.

I am not gonna say anything definite like "sources say"that is what happened but it is a distinct possibility (however mathematically infinitesimal). It might even need to have its own thread titled "as the delta burns".

Yeah. That would be the only place they could get that stuff. It's so hard to find "supplements".

Yeah, I'm sure 5'6 internet message board poster CtotheVrzbck would've fared better vs the numerous dindus who jumped Dak.

I know it is a bit embarrassing to have your QB be the star of a Worldstarhiphop video, much less one where he spends some quality time getting the shite kicked out of him... but you should embrace that instead of turning away from it.

Try something like "Yeah our QB was punked out but he took his arse beating like a man! Watch him flounder around and bleed like crazy! It takes Heisman level talent to get beat down like that buddy!"

That way you will still sound silly about trying to defend your QB putting himself in a situation where he got the crap kicked out of him, but you will sound more manly about it. Run with it man. I can't think of any other Heisman candidate going into their final season that looked like a prison bitch so own it.

It's cute you defending your fellow Arkansas fan. We know who the bum boy is in this relationship.

You saw it took about 10 guys to whip 3. Nobody in their right mind picks a fight with 3 guys that are at least 6'2 230. Well, unless you are going in deep

Tebow concussion in 2008. Then Merlins and St. Urban sent him out to play the next week. Class acts.
