Com'on big guy, you know darn well that even if they were bumping your gums a bit shouldn't result in a 5-10 on 1 beating. If you think about it, really is no different than Bo & Denzel last year. You have to aware of your surroundings, stay away from questionable places and be able to extract yourself from a potentially bad spot. I am glad they are okay and likely learned a life lesson with nothing more than "bit" of a PR nightmare that will quickly dissipate in today's 24 news cycle.

Correct. District Attorny will still charge them. Assault someone on Spring Break, not good look for city, county. Sorta like in Domestic Violence cases, a lot of times the female don't want to press charges, but the prosecutor will still charge.
