Not really, their little 5Peat,along with beating Bama in 2010 is the highlight of their 120 history.Scoring 35 last season was the highpoint of their season. Clemson fans just laugh at them,as do Bama ,Dawg,LSU,Tn,tOSU ,ect Fans .
As to the OP, Herbie has been on record the last 3-4 years, stating many times on TV that he'd want his boys at Clemson. He's paying their way,they actually play the sport.Not even close to what FBI Investigation is about,but every single u OF sc message board has a thread about it.

Dabo isn't doing anything wrong in this situation. You can absolutely bet that he's doing it for the publicity aspect however.

That is dumb when you won the baseball championship.....it was flooded. Heck it was full after the WBB team won. During the 5 peat it was like roaches on the site. I understand it to some degree, before the 5 peat it was almost 40 years since USCe had won back to back in the series.
I dont understand Clemson fans on USCe sites boasting about beating your team, but that is just me.

It was in fact a genius move by Dabo...listening to Herbie gush about the culture at Clemson sucks as an opposing fan. However, I can tip my cap to Dabo on the strategic decision.

Trading millions of dollars a week in free advertising on ESPN for a spot on the National Championship roster for 2 private school kids? Herbie winning. Different than what the actresses out west did for their kids? Semantics.
