He doesn’t believe what he says. He’s just doing it to motivate his team and to also make his players level-headed after so much success. Smart IMO.

Yep. It's annoying to everyone else, but I'm sure he doesn't give a shite what we think.
He's doing what he can to keep HIS team with 2 NCs in the last 3 years hungry and playing with a chip. That is what he cares about.

Playing for their 3rd national championship in 5 years, more than Auburn has won in 125 years of competing in college football. If they win they’ll have double the number Auburn has. You can hate Dabo all you want, but he owns AU. 4-0 as a head coach.

Clemson's last 5 recruiting classes have been:
2015: 9th
2016: 11th
2017: 16th
2018: 7th
2019: 10th
There is no way that is the second best 5 year average out there. Off the top of my head I would say at least Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, and LSU have a better 5 year average. Probably a couple more schools I'm not thinking about too.
