Yep, not even mad about it. Losing Walker hurt our chances bad. We had to get very lucky today to take this one. Hopefully Poche pitches lights out again tomorrow and we can push across 4-5 for a win.

Without burning Faedo, the entire team would have been resting.

Still think 3 runs wins the game for either team

who are the projected starters for gm 2 and 3 if necessary?

Faedo can go a few innings if it goes to 3 right?

pitchers usually throw a BP session on 3 days rest. faedo will likely throw at least 60-70 pitchers in a game 3

You think they're celebrating that much when they still need to win another?

just did the math.. three days rest. If he's sharp 5/6 innings is likely.

Don't know the kid's history.. is he one to go deep innings and pitch counts?

No idea but he's their ace and if it comes down to Wednesday then it is literally winner take all for the national championship. He'll gut it out as much as he can. Our best hope would be to make him go deep early.

One of the knowledgeable UF fans, tell me about Dyson. He's only gone more than a couple innings once this year? Does he pound the zone or does he try to work the edges?

He is just a freshman and he has pitched on a different level lately. Wouldn't have gotten past Wake without him. Threw 7 innings of 2 hit ball and gave up zero runs with 9 k's.

That is over 2 games. Due to the rain delays he threw 2 innings in game 2 and 5 innings in game 3.

I hope he can be as effective tomorrow.
