how is the ump stupid for making a correct call? you have to make an effort to get out the way, and the player did the exact opposite of that.
If he just stood there and got hit it would at least be an arguable call that maybe he didn't have time to move.

I've seen much much worse in this series get the base. Fullerton especially.
I hate it when umps discretion can completely change a ballgame. No outs could have been a huge inning for Florida.
On that particular call it should be blatant.

it was blatant. id suggest getting a better tv if you cant see his elbow move into the pitch. Other umps missing a call shouldn't influence this one from making the correct call. Sorry it was the correct call
