Religion is ruining the world, and always has.

I just feel like a lot of you give Jesus a bad name when you act like a bunch of idiots on here 363 days of the year, then you have the gall to post “Jesus is the reason for the season” on Christmas, then post “Christ is Risen” on Easter. But whatever, man. I hope you are blessed.

Its a sports board dude with alot of give and take. I poke at some fanbases and certain people but never with malice. Christians aren't perfect and never claim to be, or there would be no reason for Jesus to of come into this world. If you expect Christians to lead a perfect life, or behave how you envision them to be, good luck. There has only been one perfect person that walked this earth. Good night and Merry Christmas to you.

So basically sports boards are places where Christians are exempt from acting Christ-like because nobody’s perfect and Christians are forgiven? Cool. I’ll keep that in mind.
Maybe I’ll go cheat on my wife, and when she confronts me, I’ll say “I’m not perfect. I’m forgiven because Christ came. And I met her on a sports board.” And everything would be ok.
Don’t mean to derail the thread, but it just pisses me off when people act like utter morons, then say “Jesus is awesome” two times a year, as if anybody would ever be influenced. With the way a lot of you act, it probably turns people off to Christianity. Nobody wants to be associated with a bunch of hypocrites.

You echo the same rhetoric of Karl Marx. Who’s ideas have resulted in the deaths of over 100,000,000 people worldwide via democide. But yeah, its religion that’s ruining the world..

Christmas is a catholic invention, used to supplant a pagan holiday.
The Bible tells us that Jesus would have been born during the feast of tabernacles.
Of course when he was born isn't of importance anyway since it is he death and resurrection that are important.
If Christians would actually study their own holy texts then they wouldn't be made fun of by getting so much wrong.
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

No judgement on my Christianity? Because I let a few “F” bombs fly when we got to the 3rd or 4th OT with Texas A&M. And I occasionally flirt with EKG as well. Think that covers all of my board sins.

Well he did stretch it pretty good with going from acting like idiots on here to equating it with cheating on your wife. He also doesn't comprehend the fact we are all fallen humans in need of a savior. He did call me out (although I think its mainly due to Lsu being one of my targets) and maybe its a bit of a wake up call, I will check myself more going forward. I do enjoy this thread with you and jnethe1.

I think your sin is being a Mizzou fan
Seriously, this is one of the oddest exchanges I have ever had on his board. CNB (and others) reacted as expected. Does not bother me in the least bit. TiK took it to a really strange place.

My point is I was surprised that you and a few other posters on here are Christians, because you act just like everybody else here (many times, worse than). I would never have known, if it wasn't for this thread.
Anyways, yes, you are a hypocrite. But I call you that "in good fun and no malice." So...
