Miss St.: I would say we are steady as we just made our 4th straight bowl and pulled in the best class in our history..
Well let's break this statement down... MSU isn' t steady... They have lost 5 of their last 6 football games, including a bowl loss to a team that hadn't won a postseason game in 50 years... The 5 losses came by a combined score of 188-81... They have not played in 4 straight bowl games, they have played in 3 consecutive bowl games.. They went 5-7 in Mullen's first season... And this isnt the best class in MSU history... It's not even a top 3 ranked class within the last decade according to Scout.com.

one lousy game that lsu wasn't motivated? lsu returns as much as any other team, hauled in a monster class and brought in cam. that might even be trending up.

We should expect a half decade of this kinda crap from the SoCal dicks. They blew it this year, now they'll be blowing it out of their asses for the next four or five trying to catch-up.
Is there a likable west coast program out there? Oregon maybe? Oregon State? I dunno. SoCal makes'em all look bad.

Yeah you're right, I think we would smoke USCe if we played yall. I would put USCe at a B and steady.

Tennessee: F. We should be able to improve in the next few years, but we won't really be getting any closer to competing, if that makes sense.

Alabama A++
LSU A
Florida A
Georgia A-
Texas A&M B+ (and rising quickly)
South Carolina B (was tempted to give them a B- - the reason they're this high I think is largely because of Spurrier - if he were to leave, and based on the fact that they share a state with Clemson, they could fall to C- easily - despite Spurrier, they don't seem to be building a strong foundation)
Arkansas C+ (mainly hurt by being in same division as AL, LSU, A&M - hard to gain breathing room)
Auburn C (the last NC and a general winning record cause them to be this high - they'll be back, although Alabama being in the same state doesn't help them)
Ole Miss D+ (nice recruiting class and being the historically strong team in MS put them here)
Mississippi State D+ (but falling - Ole Miss' slow if tentative rise hurts them)
Tennessee D+ (and falling, based on last few years of mediocrity and slow if tentative Vandy rise - all their institutional power unlike Auburn is eroding away)
Vanderbilt D+ (and rising, seemingly)
Missouri D
Kentucky F
