We will just hold onto hope for Bobo.
The same exact things were said about Kevin Steele when we hired him and he turned out pretty good.

ETA Did you expect Harsin to bring in a bunch of guys from the west coast? The argument when he was hired was "he will have to put together a staff that can recruit the south". He is well on his way to doing just that.

I would've bet good money that Steele was a bad hire at the time, but he consistently proved me wrong.

You do not know much about Football I can tell. Bobo is a good hire just based on the fact he is a QB Coach. AU hasn't had a real QB Coach since Fisher and not a great QB Coach since Sullivan. Mason is a great hire for many reasons. Energy and experience being the obvious, but do not underestimate that he is the first real Black Coordinator at AU. Some have been in that position in Title only. It will reflect on the recruiting trail.

UGA over the last 20 years was the one school that produced better than average QBs (they just underachieved at other positions). Bobo was responsible for many of them.
