I think it is pretty ridiculous and petty for any fan base to bother a recruit over his decision personally. I think you just accept a kids choice and move on to the next class if you are going to bash.

It is all quite pathetic, but I will also add I question how much he may be fabricating to make Auburn look bad and add to the drama. Not saying he is, but I have to question it just the same.

I am not really sure that I have ever seen a fanbase melt this hard over a recruit.

No shite, even the craziest of LSU fans didn't go this full melt over L. Collins . The Au stalkers are out in full force over this one.

You think football is that important? It's a damn game, that none of us are playing. There's no reason to trash an 18 year old kid because he doesn't choose your team.
Well you tell that to your fans that threaten to kill your players, running around sexually assaulting other fans, shooting each other over losses, and tearing up other school's property and we will tell the ones giving Evans hell.

While Evans doesn't deserve to be trashed, he and his dad shouldn't have begged for so much attention and not expect a dramatic reaction. His tweet today was just for more attention. The ones doing it will laugh and Bama fans will tell him how sorry they feel for him. Its certainly not going to make the ones doing it ease up. If anything they will make fun of that too.

Shame on him for putting his family in that situation. He enjoyed his recruitment process now he and his family can live the consequences

"They" as in every fan kills every other fan after a loss? Talk about painting with broad strokes. You might need to take a step back and enjoy your friends and family more IRL.
Stop, take a step back from the keyboard, think, logoff, whatever you have to do...

Do you want to paint with broad strokes?

I've said it before I wouldn't allow my kid to bother with social media as a top recruit. It is nothing but trouble and offers no real value imo.

Adult men bashing and trashing a recruit is pathetic. I also think it is pathetic for other fan bases to pretend they are absolved from their own doing the same.

You think any of those death threats made to Cade could have been fabricated by some Aubs? Nah.

Yea, no kidding...

I'm just trying to explain that Alabama fans have no room to talk about Auburn fans (in regards to "occurrences" around players/recruits), even though I don't agree with what's happening with RaShaan Evans right now... I'm ashamed of what the Auburn fans are doing, but I'd be lying if I said the Evans' family didn't bring some of it on themselves.

Here's the thing. After Callowy, Cyrus, Reuben, Liner, et al the Evans family knew how important his commitment was to Auburn. Maybe if those situations had not occurred the reaction would be different but for him to essentially do the exact same thing they can't be surprised by the back lash.

Am I surprised that it has business repercussions for his dad, an Auburn alum and former player who played a prominent role in the entire ordeal no? He should have considered his business when he was giving interviews to Bamaonline and Rivals
