Do you guys realize how retarded the "WKU, Memphis" argument is??

EVERY QUARTERBACK in the league plays cupcakes. UF plays bigger cupcakes than anybody. We haven't played any 1-AA teams.

He's playing a good Ole MIss D and he's got 2 TDs in the first half.

He passed for more yards than any other QB has against Bama's Defense.

They keep mentioning his INTs and such, but most of those were thrown whenever he was crap. The point of this thread to indicate how he has progressed and gotten better. Pointing out stats from the beginning of the season whenever he sucked adds nothing to the opposing argument.

This.

Who the hell would you have ahead of Crompton if you think he's in the middle of the pack?

The guy is 5 TDs ahead of the next closest QB in this league.

10 of his TD's were piling on against WKU and Memphis though. 2 more of his TD's were versus Ohio. Kiffin running up the score on bad teams has helped Crompton's numbers.

He had 0 TD's and 2 INT's versus a terrible UCLA team.

In the SEC he has 11 TD's and 4 INT's. Without that 4 TD outburst against Georgia he wouldn't look like much at all. He hasn't throw more than 2 TD's versus any other SEC team. I agree he's playing well but lets not get carried away.

Its kinda funny how most of you don't realize Ohio is actually a good team.

And, i'll say it again, his numbers aren't inflated because he's playing the same caliber of teams every other QB in the league.

Florida played Charleston southern for Christ's sake. Are Tebow's stats inflated?

... because Crompton is the sole reason why UT lost. Let's forget the fact that there are 10 teammates on the field with him and he doesn't play defense.

Arguing wins when gauging QBs is absolutely fricking retarded, though that makes sense given who I am engaging with.

Tebow only had 2 tds against CSU because he was out after the first quarter.

dude im not saying no one players teams like that, you're just arguing how his TD numbers are so much better than everyone else and it's because he put up the biggest numbers against the worst opponents.

On a team like Alabama this year, I'd honestly rather have a guy like McElroy than Crompton.

Crompton has played pretty good this year considering. But he is a guy that can implode at any time and almost single-handedly costs you games.

McElroy hasn't been very good this year, but I'd bet Alabama would have at least one loss this year with Crompton at QB.

Crompton didn't play in the second half vs. Memphis. You are arguing that he was "piling on"

Let me guess, you probably think Zach Greinke shouldn't win the Cy Young because he didn't have as many wins as other guys, too, right?

I love retards.

Very true, but if Alabama had a good QB, I'd give them the edge over UF in the SECCG. I think UF beats Bama b/c McElroy will have to make plays and will give pts to UF instead. I just don't think he's very good.
