The first thing policeman do is escalate. Anyone who doubts the police are the most likely source of them having their rights stripped from them is naive.

That one cop on the downed fan dropping haymakers has to be excessive force.

As appalling as this is, I say this with every law enforcement encounter, comply and it doesn’t escalate to this, whether the guy is right or wrong. He will have his day in court. We shouldn’t take up for Baws when we don’t do it for other ethnic groups who don’t comply. He should be thankful the cop used his fist and not his gun.
This is the gospel. Comply or die. That is the only way to survive in a police state. It’s best not to leave home at all but that’s not possible so when you absolutely have to be out in public be aware that no matter what the state tells you to do your civic duty is to simply comply or die. If you are lucky you will survive the initial encounter and move on to phase 2 of the process where one agent of the state asks a second agent what happened and the second agent then explains to you that your civic duty is to comply with any and all demands of the state. Comply or die….it’s the only way to survive in a police state.

Dude was sitting in his seat. What should he have done to "comply". He presented no physical threat to the cops. He was just talking and the last time I checked the first amendment was still valid.
Without knowing 100% of the details, this seems like a contempt of cop situation.

Now I realize that in a venue like this they can ask you to leave for petty much any reason, but that doesn't give the cop the right to make the guy ride the lightning.

Most likely the "tickets" were on mom or dad's phone and the kids didn't have access to them. That happened to us at a venue recently. Except the stadium workers had a brain and figured out what was truly happening.

Shouldn’t be. That poor police officer is doing the 25th most dangerous job in America. Not as dangerous as landscaping or garbage collecting but still 25th most dangerous. He is terrified that he isn’t going home to his family in the evening despite the fact that millions of people work in 24 jobs more dangerous than his who are not terrified out of their minds that death is imminent. Notice how armed he is due to this fear….it’d be unthinkable to do game security without a pistol and a taser….except of course for the hundreds of unarmed security personnel at the game…because after all he has the 25th most dangerous job in America.
He is also agent of the state and ALL citizens have a civic duty to comply with the demands of the state without question. Failure to do so is to run the risk of the state executing the citizen on the spot and rightfully so….the state can’t have its citizens questioning its authority for ANY reason.

If that were a black guy you would be posting FAFO and explaining why he got tased and his arse beat because he was belligerent, refused to listen and threatened the officers so he deserved it.

Interesting contrast between this, which true, shows bad policing, and the one of the two older guys getting railed by the po-lice, which, having heard nothing else, is presumably the attendees' faults.
Having said that, you do not litigate your case on the street with the police. You disagree, record even, and sue later.

It doesn’t matter what he was doing, no matter how one encounters a representative of the state one must comply or die. Can’t have citizens questioning the authority of the state. Citizens rights ONLY matter in interactions where the state is uninvolved. When the state say jump by god start jumping….comply or die….it’s a simple concept. The state is infallible…. you civic duty is to comply or die.

Good Lord. And you seem serious.
It’s was a fricking recreational football game that he paid for, not a robbery attempt where he needed to be tased and beaten to a pulp in front of children.
