The only time Cowherd really looks like an idiot is when he talks about Lane Kiffin. He's so biased towards USC and particularly Kiffin it isn't funny.
He honestly thinks that dude is a great coach. The other day he even said "Look, Lane's job is to handle the offense and recruiting. They're bringing in the #1 recruiting class and they've been scoring plenty of points all year". I was almost in disbelief of the lengths he goes to back that clown.

I can see why some don't like Cowherd. He's cocky, west coast, etc. Yes, he is a USCw homer, pull for front runners like the Yankees, Lakers, Patriots, etc. To each his own.
Yet his haters either:
a) listen to him anyway and get mad
b) troll message board posts with Cowherd in the subject line complaining about him
c) claim he's "something" when he actually isn't (in this case, anti-SEC)

And I've heard him say many times that he gets tired of all the wining from the rest of the country about ESPN's "SEC bias." He says something like, "The SEC is easily thebest conference in the country and has been for years. We're gonna talk about the SEC more because they're the best. Once another conference surpasses them we'll talk about that conference more. It's the same reason we talk about the Patriots more than the Jaguars."

Last year was our best team since the 70's. This one is a step down because of inexperience on defense. But when AJ is hot we're unbeatable.
(yes, I'm well aware of 9-6 in T-town and I still think it was the best team since Bear Bryant was coach)

Maybe my last sentence in OP was misleading. I meant the anti league shite as a separate event from Cowherd.

Those two teams were in their own league last year, and it wasn't even close for anyone else. The difference came down to one position and one position only. There was no way for LSU to hide it the second time around.
