Idk. I get Zeusdog is in high school and gets owned over and over on these kind of threads. Not sure his mom could afford him an apartment in Opelika much less Auburn.

But seeing georgia residents RIP on Alabama reminds me of listening to residents of Cleveland and Detroit rip on who was the real mistake on the lake.

Being in georgia, lived here 16 years, it ain't nothing to brag about. It's hard to get a good county in the Atlanta area with good schools. And if you venture out it gets exponentially worse and thats awful. All the sec states are bad.

Cobb County has great schools. So does DeKalb. You sound like a dirty redneck.

"We regret to inform you that....."

These are the words that the incoming freshman class at Alabama hear from 90% of the schools that they applied to.

Ehhhhh, at least the areas around ATL are.

You venture too far OTP you're basically in Mississippi.

Except facts are stubborn things. 25% of UA's freshman class has an ACT of 32 or higher. Over 40% have an ACT of 30 or higher. LINK / UGA is a great school, and thanks to the growth of Atlanta and the Hope Scholarship Fund, it gets a lot of top students and few lower tier students, but you are just wrong about the quality of UA's student body.

Where in that link does it say that? I couldn’t find it. Dude, everybody that applies gets into Bama. And almost half of your students don’t score over 30 on the ACT. You’re not Vanderbilt. Growing up in North Atlanta, if you couldn’t get into UGA you had to settle for Auburn or Bama.

No, you settle for GA Southern, KSU, West Georgia or one of the other in-state schools where the most obnoxious UGA fans went to school. Auburn and Alabama are $49k and $45k/year respectively.

Your narrative is really tired.

No, you go to Bama or Auburn, which are just as easy to get into as Kennesaw St or Georgia Southern but have better party scenes.

Do you Alabama people really not know how the rest of the country looks at you? Y’all are delusional.

A lot of people in the Atlanta metropolitan area can afford that. Sorry if you can't. I didn't have to worry about it though because I was smart enough to get into UGA. Nobody in Atlanta respects an Auburn or Alabama degree. Everyone just looks at it like, "Damn, this kid wasn't smart enough to get into UGA."

bullshite.
I know actual UGA grads. My dad and brother are Tulane grads. You haven't sniffed either. Nobody with an education like you claim to have would be here talking shite like you do.
You are just like every other shite talking Dawg fan who never set foot on that campus except for a Saturday game.

Nobody outside of GA gives a shite about a degree from a state school like UGA. A UGA degree is no better than any other SEC school aside from Vandy. Anyone who says otherwise is myopic and ignorant.

Graduated from the Terry College of Business in 2011 and got my JD from Tulane in 2016. Dude, I know it’s hard for people in Alabama, but you really need to try to read and stay up to date with shite. Look at the rankings. Vandy, Florida, and UGA are in the top 50. The only other SEC school ranked in the top 100 is Texas A&M. If you aren’t even ranked in the top 100, you’re a bad school. Simple as that.

I guess I have to handfeed you the information. What arrogance you have. Here ya go: LINK

LINK : "Enrollment at The University of Alabama reached 38,392 for fall 2018. Approximately 40 percent of UA’s freshman class scored 30 or higher on the ACT, and more than 36 percent were in the top 10 percent of their high school graduating class. The entering class in 2018 carries an average high school grade-point average of 3.71, with more than 34 percent having a high school GPA of 4.0 or higher. The class’s average ACT is 27."

LINK Click on SAT/ACT and select ACT as the great majority of applicants submit the ACT to UA. See that UA's top 25th percentile is 32 and above. It is slightly down from 33 and above compared with Fall 2017 cause UA experimented with making scholarships for top students less generous. UA has made them generous again which should lead to a 25th percentile of 33 or higher again for this coming Fall. With the much higher number of freshman entering UA each fall, you can see that it enrolls a larger number of the top students than UGA, even as it also enrolls more of the lower tier students.

And UA enrolls a lot of good GA students. I don't remember where to find the exact number, but UA is now about 65% out of state, so that contradicts your claim that out of state students don't find Alabama attractive. Auburn too gets a lot, though fewer than Alabama, of out of state students. : LINK /

And regarding your fixation on rankings, I have already explained why UA has fallen so fast in those rankings. USNWR has been increasingly penalizing schools like UA and Auburn that offer generous merit aid. Both Alabama and Auburn have fallen from earlier heights. UA more so cause it provides more generous merit aid than any other public flagship in the nation.

Finally, at least 25% of UGA's most recent freshman class had an ACT of 26 or less. So, not, not everyone who is admitted to UGA is an Einstein. LINK

I said that Alabama is a backup school for kids that can't get into UGA. So yes, rejected UGA applicants from the State of Georgia find Alabama attractive. You can have the scraps from our high schools. One man's trash is another man's treasure. Oh, and here is some info on the latest freshman class.
