LSU and Bama were so dominate, if they were in the Big East last year, the Big East would have been the strongest conference.

It's pretty funny how he calls our season disappointing too. LSU fans were power fapping to their 11-2 finish prior to the 2011 season.

To gain any national cred, Arkansas does not need to beat Bama and LSU as much as they need not to chit the bed and take a combined six touchdown beating on national TV

Very true

Bama DID overturn that gap in the postseason and with time to prepare. In the regular season we were very even teams as the 3 pt victory in overtime would suggest. However, in the offseason we appeared to have regressed (or possibly Bama's progession causing this illusion). They were definitely a 24 pt better team on Jan 9 with that much time to rest and prepare

I believe LSU was still a great team and would have beaten the brakes off of any other team they played. Bama was angry and wanted revenge and just prepared well. Its hard to beat a team twice in a season, especially a team like Alabama.

The games were pretty similar except two things.

Bama kicker don't choke in game 2 like he did in game 1.

Saban had an insane game plan for his defense and LSU's offense was just bad.

I often wonder how close game 2 would have been if Bama won like they should have.... What motivation would Bama have to prove their point? Would LSU have been pissed then and not shite the bed?
