Yes...LSU had a 3 pt loss in Columbus in '88...
Ohio State was 7-11 against the SEC going into the bowl game, what they were was 0-9 against the SEC in bowl games...

If the Detergents could have beat USC or LSU, then your team could have tried to do what Arkansas couldn't. But the Detergents couldn't even get to the Sugar Bowl, finishing 4th in the SEC West.
