Somewhat Cam, but also the fact that we have been so close to beating yall in 3 or the last 4 games we have played and ended up losing.

I just want to know if we have been circled on the calender yet and if so pencil or ink. Also if we haven't yet but will soon be circled I would recommend pencil due to the fact that it is easier to erase.

Top 3 DL -
Top 3 secondary-

Morrow, Bumphis, Lewis, some other kid I can't rmemwber, Johnson, etc are at least middle of the pack
OL is weakness but if Tobias comes back wont hurt them so lets say 7-8th.
With a coaching staff that is middle of the pack
If you do the math.. Their defense will be top 4 and their offense will be top 7. With a coaching staff that is top 5. Add those averages together, divide by 3 and state is at best the 4th best team in the SEC and at worst 6th best in the SEC.
With Bama, LSU, and UGA being the obvious top 3. State will fight arky and SC for the next three spots. So in their opinions 4th in the west is the worst they will finish. Where am I wrong state fans?
We went 6-6 with a bunch of injuries to very important players. The chances of going thru that again this season are much smaller. And we have more depth to compensate when something does happen.
DL- better- lots more depth, 5* DT and juco AA added
LB- Better- 5 of the top 6 return + redshirts. Group is deep- signees wont even crack the 2-deep
Secondary- Better 3/4 starters return + juco CB got alot of experience
OL- better jucos + youth got experience
WR- better- they all return + redshirts
RB- talented but inexperienced as a group- State hasnt worried about the RB position in 20 years
QB- better
In short- we'll be better

yall should have your best shot this year. New coordinators and same sub par talent.
I'd just suggest not making it the "it" game to make or break your season. Lotta football left after week 2

So, yeah, about the same. With a harder schedule, the 2011 D gave up on average 17 yards more a game.
