you could probably fit 200k in the swamp with that kind of cramped seating.

I want to go to Neyland at least once in my life. We only play there once every 6 years. Looking forward to it cramped or not.

I have been to the first seven in your list (well I've seen Arky in LR). Tiger Stadium is by far and away the best atmosphere.

Obviously a MAJORITY of posters in this thread have not been to Neyland since the renovations this year. It is by far and away one of the premier stadiums in the country.
it looks like a huge movie theater

Problem is, it's hands down the most uncomfortable stadium to sit in that I've ever been to. And nothing else is close, either.
I can agree with this, as you have about 3" of space for your seat. If you are a fatass, then it's uncomfortable I'm sure.
The problem is, you end up getting stuck with a fatass to the left and right of you.
This thread was about the coolest stadium in the SEC, to which Neyland takes a back seat to no one in the SEC.

I went to the 2001 LSU - UT game at Neyland. I sat on one arse cheek for the entire first half. At halftime, i went to take a leak and get a drink. When I went back up, my seat was GONE. I stood on the concourse and watched what I could see from there. I have nothing against UT, but if Tiger Stadium seats were numbered like Neyland, then it would hold 110,000. Not only were the seats tiny, but the rows are closer jammed together..I had knees in my back the entire first half.

Double the space they give you to sit in, widen the rows between the seats...having someone's knees in your back all game is not "cool"...and you might have a case.

Look forward to having you up. Eat at Calhoun's, it has great BBQ and is on the Tennessee River.
Most of the UT fans are hospitable, but like all stadiums, there are a few drunken assholes that gives everyone a bad name.
The seating is a little tight...
That can be advantageous at times though, like when you are sitting beside a full sweatered co-ed, especially when they are drunk.
Pick up P-90-X and prepare for your trip!
If I run across you at the game, I'll buy you a beer.

Look foreward to having you in Knoxville next fall.
If you are into tailgating with students, we'd love to have you show up. Hopefully we will be the ESPN prime time game that night. Mid October in Knoxville is always perfect football weather. Unless it rains, it will likely be mid 60s/low 70s, leaves on the mountains will be starting to change, Tennessee river, ect.
Hope you have fun and don't let our fatasses with tiny prevent you from coming back

Dont get me wrong....I love when LSU plays at Neyland. The entire experience is fun, with the exception of the seats. And the work that has been done on the outside is very very nice. I havent run into any assholes at UT. East Tennesseeis one of the most beautiful parts of this country....
