So a player leaves college after his junior season after being drafted to the NFL. Plays a full season for an NFL team. Player decides he no longer likes the NFL and returns to play in college for LSU because Kiffin intentionally misinterprets 5 on 5 because he is a silly, childish twat.
Jesus. It's wild how fricking clueless some are still.
This ONLY applies to the class of 2022 that were told they HAD TO DECLARE for the draft because they were out of eligibility only to have the NCAA write tha stupid retroactive clause in 5 for 5 2 months after the draft.
It's definitely a gray area and Kiffin AND MANY OTHER COACHES certainly took advantage. Only one is being threatened with expulsion and a federal case.

You're just full of retarded analogies, aren't you?
In your hypethetical:
- the player leaves college fully aware he has remaining eligibility (the 2022 player were led to believe they have none)
- the player is drafted in the NFL draft (the 2022 players were not drafted)
- the player plays a full NFL season (the 2022 players didn't even play a snap in the preseason)
Are you just this fricking totally misinformed about everything?

No one is going to read all that much less listen to a damn word from an Alabama fan. My best cheapest advice is to frick right off. Go kick your wife/sister/cousin or your dog if you can tell the difference.

LSU doesn't belong in the SEC. You aren't wanted here. As you can easily tell from just the participants on this one single board, no one likes LSU or their fans.
Go find another board to post on.

Chicken needs to remind you dumb fricks where you came from. This board only exists because nice LSU fans got tired of the Gumps flooding the LSU board when Saban was hired.
All he has to do is turn out the lights on this place and you’re bitch arse is banished back to whatever shitty Bama board you frequent.

i don't want them kicked i just wish they'd stop trying to defend this obvious attempt to cheat.

Defend it by complying? The rule was stated and challenged but never defied. That is like punishing a kid for asking what the reason is they can't cross the street alone at 18

Holy wall of shite that is nothing but supposition

So, Sankey thinks he’s the Tom Cruise character in Minority Report? Out of those 442 words, none of them were put into any type of coherent sentence to explain what LSU actually did wrong.
Pretend I’m a dumb Cajun like y’all say we are! Explain to me which specific rules LSU broke?

The SEC alleges LSU violated several specific rules:
1. SEC Professionalism Rules (adopted Aug. 25, 2026)
Member schools are barred from rostering any athlete who:
Previously declared for the NFL, NBA, or WNBA draft without withdrawing
Signed a professional contract with a team affiliated with those leagues
Was listed on a professional roster
This rule was adopted 15–0, with LSU president Wade Rousse abstaining. The players at the center are former Ole Miss players tight end Dae'Quan Wright and defensive tackle Zxavian Harris, both of whom signed NFL contracts this summer.
2. Intraconference Transfer Rule
Wright and Harris are former Ole Miss players, making their move to LSU an intraconference transfer outside the designated portal window — a separate violation.
3. Article 6 of the SEC Constitution — Institutional Control
The SEC's amended filing alleges a "lack of institutional control over the athletics program at LSU," pointing to the fact that President Rousse and Athletic Director Verge Ausberry remained silent while Lane Kiffin publicly challenged the rules and pursued the players.
4. First Amendment Right of Expressive Association
The SEC frames the core legal claim as LSU forcing the conference to associate its brand, media rights, and championships with conduct it publicly condemns — arguing that violates the conference's constitutional right of expressive association.
The SEC notes that LSU itself voted in favor of the professionalism ban but then pursued the players anyway, and that Kiffin's post-Clemson comments reiterating his objections "stand in sharp contrast to the silence by the President and Athletic Director."

Did they play? Is abstaining from a decision until adequate reason defiance? The tip toeing necessary to make the flawed logic fit is hilarious

So, no different than what y’all did with Bediako? Got it!
When’s the vote to kick Alabama out?
