No they wouldn't have. We found out that we have the talent to beat lesser teams but we have alot to improve on before we face the SEC gauntlet. I'm glad we won but keeping it into perspective it was clempson not Florida, Lsu, Vandy, Ole Miss, Arkansas ect...

quit tooting that sec horn ( u know only losers shout sec,sec. right. acc is just as good as sec, see the miami/#1 florida series). rankings are like beauty pageants. we'll see the end results in omaha.

and i say polls are bull. look at the old bcs, w/polls in football. sec has the brand name. when they made teams actually play, sec is no better (ok, 'bama is kinda good). baseball is no different.look where warren nolan has dayton ranked in rpi in baseball, and they have won 1 game,pending todays result.

SEC has Vandy with 2 NC, Florida has one, LSU has won, and Gamecocks have 2 and this is just recent . The ACC has what Virgina with one. You have no baseball history to prop up so you have to switch to another sport. The SEC has a brand name because we have the Hardware to back it up.
Rankings do change, like you said, in fact they will change this week but you know what wont change? Not seeing clempson's name.
