Curious to see what a different looking Jans team is like. This group’s strengths on defense and weaknesses on offense are well documented. I think they clearly need to add more offense, but can you do it without sacrificing much of your defensive identity? Jans seems like a coach that really emphasizes that so I would imagine defense is never going to be a huge issue for State. Just hope he’s able to add the scorers to elevate the program’s ceiling. Currently haven’t won an NCAA Tourney game since 2008, and have only three NCAAT trips since then. The next logical step is getting in the tourney more consistently and eventually winning a game or two.

I like Jans a lot and have more excitement about basketball than I’ve had in a while.
