Yesterday was fun watching all the games.

I’ve always been supportive of the money games, it’s great for exposure for those smaller schools and the opportunity for those players to measure up. Plus the money.

However, I don’t remember so many extreme blowouts across the board. I do have to believe, this is in direct relation to the portal and NIL. It feels like the gap between the have and have nots is no longer just a separation of talent; but almost like they are playing a different sport all together.

It maybe time to eliminate these games, especially against FCS teams. I know UGA has one next week! You have to ask, is it really worth it? Do you really know anything about your team?

There was a time once, where there were some moral victories that came from these games; but yesterday it was just embarrassing at times.

It is time for all P4 confs to put a 9 game conf schedule, 2 P4 OOC requirement, and no more than 1 level down game ie, P4>G5>FCS>DII>DIII, in place.

I know it reads like I’m screaming at the clouds; but other than your blowout game yesterday, did you enjoy watching or better yet even stay engaged watching the other blowouts. I doubt it!

I would establish a one or two game preseason in last two weeks of August for FCS games then do away for regular. If you’re going to have an 85+ roster then you need these for them to see live fire.

Honestly nothing jumped out regarding the scores of week 1 games.

The only outlier is Ole Miss tbh. Theyre loaded on paper but going to have insane turnover and a currently average high school class. Up for debate if that’s sustainable. Ole Miss is the only NIL heavy program looking to change the narrative.

Not sure what else you’re implying besides not agreeing to play smaller schools
