Where do you think the phrase Texas fight that gets repeated over and over comes from? Not like it matters since both songs are old and are from a different era that don't pertain to the situation today

Where did I "talk shite"? I simply said its comical that a team who claims no rivalry with another still sings/sways to a song about the other at every sporting event.

Didnt i already with their fight song? How about their mascots name, their hookem thing, etc. And like I said, it doesn't matter. We aren't rivals

To be fair, their fans don't even sing the words to Texas Fight. They just clap apathetically until it's time to yell "Give 'em hell! Give 'em hell! Make 'em eat shite!!"

Do all of your fellw fans feel this way? Just from an outsider's perspective, it sounds like protesting too much. You're only two years removed from your annual series, and pretty much everyone figures your bitterness with Tejas and the way it controlled the conference was the single largest reason y'all left the B12. Doesn't sound like a distant past thing to me. The actual on-field rivalry will diminish thanks to the move, but the mutual dislike has hardly had time to fade in just a couple years. That sort of thing takes much longer to go away...if it ever does. If both teams are doing well and competing for titles, the information age will absolutely ensure that the contest for bragging rights will remain fresh and continue to be promulgated by fans on both sides.

I honestly couldn't give two shits about Texas. I hate baylor much much more and that's because Baylor is a trash place with trash people

It seems that way. Most of the ags i know, at least who are in my age range, don't really care. I mean yea there will always be some level of dislike between the four major texas schools but the move to the SEC has really moved the fan base, at least the younger half IMO, to bigger and better things. You can see this in how people really don't care if the game comes back any time soon. You listen to a lot of people explain how they don't miss the game at all

Hate is a very strong word which I find quite inaccurate. Pointing out simple truths with factual information behind said truths is not hatred.
