Actually Roy Adams. He was friends with Logan Young, who was a blabber mouthed drunk. Adams would post the info that Young had blabbed to him. Young should have returned the favor, but he feel up a flight of stairs before he had the chance.

I realize who he was. I was talking more about stuff that happened after Logan Young died. TennStud tried to start some rumors about "runners" in Huntsville that were attached to the Neighbors family. He then backtracked as usual. I think he left VolQuest a couple of years ago.

I can't imagine taking fandom to such an extreme. On my worst day I would never devote a minute of time trying to bring down bama, or try to gather evidence of them cheating. These guys (both sides) obsession with destroying their rivals is greater than the love of their own team... Too bad normal fans like us get caught in the middle.

I wasnt questioning whether or not you knew who he was. Your's was just the post I hit reply to. Most Bama fans knew who he was. I just felt like putting his real name out there so people who didnt know who he was would realize the connection & where his info came from.

Just take a look at the Prophet and his hacks down in the cellar. They are not right in the head man.

frick that. I've been sitting on my story for a while. I'm just waiting till he plays in a few games before I go public.

Too lazy to read all 23 pages, but gotta think the Barners are pissed this got pinned after they worked so hard to get ATPB banished to the dungeon.

That's what I'm saying. I don't even know how you get to a state of mind like that. Sure I hate bama, but I haven't devoted my life to destroying them. They have fooled themselves into believing that they are somehow going save college football by bringing down AU.

Chizik complained that the inquiry’s open-ended nature had hurt Auburn’s recruiting and he followed up at least three times, leading to a testy exchange.
“You’ll know when we’re finished,” Roe Lach told Chizik, according to several coaches who were at the meeting. “And we’re not finished.”
Something tells me this exchange did not get the response Chizik was hoping for. This goes back to the wise old saying of an experienced trial lawyer...."Don't ask a question you don't know the answer to or don't want to know the answer to."
Sure some finality is needed by Auburn in this game of uncertainty, but in this case uncertainty was better in the eyes of recruits than a flat out quote like "We're not finished." At a minimum, Chizik should have asked this question in private instead of pissing off a compliance officer to the point of having to make a quote Auburn did not want to be made public.

Let's just say there is this pharmacist in Alabama who didn't learn how not to do things from another guy from the same town. Now all I have to do is convince my Bama alum sister and brother in law to corroborate my story and I'm gold.

The first two pages of this thread are an instant classic.

The compliance officer for Auburn has since commented on the Cam Newton saga. A CO is not allowed to discuss an ongoing case by the NCAA.
...So you're saying Auburn has committed another violation?

Someone fed this story to Thamel. My quess it is the same source as Kirk McNair, the question is why now. This would not be an attempt to draw the attention away from a upcomming bigger story. Feed the people most willing to write anything negative about Auburn.

so this is gonna be the weekly auburn is going down thread?
only for august to come around and still nothing.
Still nothing? It sure is taking a lot of time for the NCAA to close the case on something Auburn fans claim did not happen. If there was absolutely nothing here, the NCAA would have closed this case a long time ago to focus on OSU and UNC. This is possibly the biggest case the NCAA has dealt with in college football since SMU. They are going to take their sweet arse time getting their facts straight making sure they do this correctly.

Call it what you want, but yeah it probably is hurting recruiting.
I agree with this... You can't pay them off with the NCAA watching.
