Just curious, do you think they'll still use DJ on special teams now that we're thin at RB?
That is a good question. I say yes, some of the time. I think we may see some different guys out there before the season starts to see what they can do.
You really cannot afford losing Johnson again this year, especially on kickoff returns.

What is the official word on Davis?

I didn't think DJ was even working on the return teams in practice as it is? Maybe I am just thinking of the punt return guys?

capt. bmfp might put someone else back in the cup cake games and let dj do his thing in big games like the bama game.
then rest him for teams we own like LSU.

Out for the year. They haven't released what the actual injury is yet.

There has not been a lot of kick return worked on as of yet. Mostly punt return as you eluded to.
I just do not see us taking the risk this year having DJ back for kickoffs

It's essentailly a double whammy for us, we lose Knile for the year which hurts our running game, and we will probably lose DJ on kick returns, which is a big lose.

Damn. I hate this for him. I hope he has a speedy recovery and returns better next year.

what about Adams in the pistol every once in a while.

Dunno.
I know this. Bobby Petrino will find a way to ease one of our backs into the premier back in our offense.
We always seem to have a 1k yard rusher, and I expect this year to be no different.
We will be fine. We may just be throwing the ball a bit more to really set up the run this year.

Everytime you post, I imagine NBA Jam's "He's on fire" playing in the background.
