Sorry if you guys are not ready for an off-season topic but it is for all but 2 teams.

There has been much talk about moving Auburn to the East and Mizzou to the West to create a more balanced conference. What is always wrong with such thought is that even with keeping AU-UA as a permanent cross-divisional opponent is that it ignores the legacy of other teams Auburn has played every year for decades. What makes the most sense now is moving TAMU to the East and Mizzou West. Make LSU our permanent cross-divisional rival and Mizzou can play Kentucky.

Changes are quickly coming to the top of the SEC as shown by ours, Florida’s and Auburn’s convincing bowl victories. And equally impressive is the dominance of SEC recruiting (especially SEC West).

But face the facts, the West under the current alignment will be stronger for at least another decade & likely longer. This bottlenecks the ability in most years to get 2 SEC teams into the CFP. Get 2 unbeaten teams into the conference championship game & it becomes a no-brainer to take BOTH to the CFP in most years. And A&M will be one of those 2 in many years given the opportunity. I know many fellow Aggies may be against the increased travel for conference games. But we aren’t LSU and and will show up.

Let’s do this & Gig ‘Em.

Afraid of the competition? How many times have the Aggies won 10 games this century? Once.

We need to contract back to #12strong and erase Slive's blunder. Piss on Mike Slive.

Why do you think we want to go to the East? Our biggest historic rivals behind UGA/Bama are Florida and Tennesse. That's 3/4 in the East. UF is the closest SEC campus to Auburn.

Everything about Auburn being in the East makes more sense.

No way it happens, but if it ever did, I would prefer Scar as our cross division.

Dude, what are you on? Tuscaloosa, Athens, and even Knoxville is closer to Auburn than Gainesville. Quit using that Auburn math degree and Google it.

Only the beginning of January 2019 and we already have a strong contender for Troll of the Year. The best "conference realignment" would be for aTm to go back to where they belong, to the B12 and playing third fiddle to Longhorns and Sooners.

Doesn’t make sense historically or geographically.

Kick A&M out and bring Oklahoma in.
