I think K. Bell will be the leading reciever this year because of the deep ball. I can see a small drop in his completion percentage, but an increase in his yardage due to going downfield more this year. I think he'll be Bama's first QB to break the 3000 yard mark in passing this year.

Same, except I think he'll complete 70% of his passes. Yes he'll go down field a lot more, but he'll also get big chunks of yards just by checking down to Hart and Yeldon.

So he's better at home than on the road. Shocking.

He also played against weaker defenses at home.

Ah, I didn't go. Bama still acted as he road team though, and I wanted it to be an even number of games on both sides. I could've just said "In BDS" and "Not in BDS".

Yeah I was surprised at the number of Bama fans there and you frickers were LOUD from the jump. I'm sure they were even louder in the 4th qtr than the 1st but I was so drunk by then I don't remember.

I imagine it was really loud going into the fourth.

Sept. 8 Western Kentucky BDS
Sept. 22 Florida Atlantic BDS
Sept. 29 Mississippi BDS
Oct. 27 Mississippi State BDS
Nov. 10 Texas A&M BDS
Nov. 17 Western Carolina BDS
Nov. 24 Auburn BDS

Sept. 1 Michigan Neutral
Sept. 15 Arkansas Away
Oct. 13 Missouri Away
Oct. 20 Tennessee Away
Nov. 3 LSU Away
============================
It looks like the efficiency rating will be a good deal higher at home again. The D's for Mizzou, UT and Hogs are used to passing and LSU has the DB talent. His away stats may be the most important.

UA actually has a pretty difficult away schedule.

I'm not sure what UT returns in the secondary, but I know we'll have to run the ball a lot more in that game to win. If Bray and those WRs get the ball a lot they'll do damage if they target the new guys, though by then Belue won't be a problem, Dixon may be, but for all we know Fulton will play in the Nickel formation.

Arky, LSU, and UT on the road is tough. Michigan in Dallas to start the season will look good on the resume, but they're not a threat by any means.

Mizzou is used to passing, but they'll have to deal with PA all night. His away stats will be very important.

I like having a tough schedule. MSU is only going to get better on defense, and they looked like the third best defense in the SEC last year. (Though I wouldn't say they were.) Of course Auburn is going to be MUCH better, and it is the IB, but we should beat them.

Any way, I agree with :

Yeah, I hadn't really broke down and looked at the schedule till now but that's 3 - 5 losses for 90& of CFB. Of course UA is in that top 5% but still...pretty difficult.

Indeed. Honestly, I want USCw to lose to Washington, lose to Oregon in the regular season, and then beat Oregon in the title game. If LSU loses I want them to get a rematch in Miami so that we can say they got a rematch too, and so that the two best teams can play in the title game.

I do think TCU could do unbeaten in the Big XII though. They have the offense to hang with the Big XII, AND they play good defense. It's like the worst nightmare for a Big XII team.

Great info!

I am certain that AJ has more physical tools to play in the NFL than McElroy.

My biggest fear for the kid is if he makes bad decisions. He makes me nervous for some reason in that regard.

I think he's growing out of bad decisions. When Saban let him loose and just have fun, he goes off.

I think McElroy would suffice as a starter in the NFL tbh. People get all over him for a ROOKIE mistake in the preseason, but it doesn't change the fact that he's accurate, and has the highest football IQ of any QB on his current roster.

People also bust his balls about calling out the Jets lockerroom, but what is he supposed to do? He's there to play football. Not get paid.

Anyway, McCarron should be up to around 225, and he's standing at 6'4". If Nuss' work with him truly helped his touch on deep balls, I could see him going in the first round after his Senior season.

Too bad it's not like that in the Bryant-Denny Library.
