Ingram wouldn't have gotten nearly as many touches if we had jumped out to a two score lead early, but your point still stands. (Not the junior high insult part though)

He changed the scheme for recruiting, elite players didn’t want to play in the spread/zone read as it didn’t prepare them for the nfl

Colts injury allowed Alabama to play their game with confidence. Texas scored on their first two possessions, but they were field goals. If Texas goes up 14-0 and Colt is still on the other sideline ready to put up more, it starts looking grim for Bama. There was no threat of offense from Texas anymore, it really allowed Alabama to lean on us with the run game. It’s easy to play bully ball in one possession games. There was a reason Saban was trying to steal possessions early with a fake punt.

I never see Gumps saying "Man I wish we'd played Texas at full strength."

You'll see them for the next 50 years talking about jameson williams though.

They love to pick a side based on whatever makes bama look best.

Please. No one is crying here but you sips trying to rationalize that history should somehow be different than it really is.
What's there to rationalize? We're 76-37 against you, have won 9 of the last 12, and are ranked No. 1 in more weeks this season than you will ever see A&M in your entire pathetic life
quote:

McCoy went 2-2 against A&M, losing in 2006 and 2007. Imagine hanging your revisionist history on the back of a 0.500 QB vs. A&M in the Franchione-Sherman transition years at A&M.
Awwwwwwwww that's so cute. You mentioned two seasons where Texas lost to A&M, yet still finish ranked higher, and then completely ignored the next two years where Texas won by an average of 25 points and finished in the top 3 both times.

I know that's hard for you to accept. You will live and die, just like your father and grandfather, without seeing a&m finish in the top 3 in football one single time

Oof
Indeed.

Poor aggies Y'all wish you could be us so badly it's adorable. I mean, look at you: you're commenting on a thread about Texas playing in a national championship game because you know deep down you'll never get to experience watching the aggies do the same

Texas would have been smoked by either Bama or UF that year. There is no universe where Texas is the best team in 09.

Was arrested and booked for assaulting a police officer

And then the entire police force, along with yourself, had egg on the face after every single charge was dropped for being bogus.

Also true.

But nonetheless was humorous watching you take a victory lap over it as a longhorn golfer being arrested would've been the single greatest moment in PGA history for any aggie

Why do you lie all the time? I started a thread that asked a question, nothing more.

What was the lie? Were all charges not dropped? Has an aggie golfer accomplished anything in the PGA tour that Scottie Scheffler accomplished in 2024 alone? (genuine question; y'all are just so irrelevant and inconsequential that I legitimately don't know)

Uh... you seriously don't remember doubling down only to have it shoved in your face when proven dead wrong?

Lol typical aggie delusion
