This was known. Jones' involvement in the suit was based on second hand stories. As dumb as Jones is, I'm pretty certain he wasn't out there encouraging his players to say mean things to a guy who reported a sexual assault.
That being said, it's obvious that he recruited a ton of thugs into that program. He will certainly never be anything other than an intern at Alabama.
