It has been an enjoyable CWS. Nail-bitter games, except for LSU and TENN but even that one had it's moments.
Kind of shocked to see UVA out but from what I remember of them in 2021, they are a fast strike team that tries to build a big lead and hold on for a win. That only works when they get up by more than 5 runs against a team.
They shocked TENN in 2021 using this fast strike strategy but then lost to MS State and TX. They used that strategy again in 2023 but went 0-2. So it would seem that it's not the best game plan for them.

I didn't think that ball was going to carry like it did. UF on top 2-0.
Winner of this game doesn't play again until Wednesday. Will be interesting to see how coaches set up their pitching staffs.

I made my picks for the CWS finals as TCU vs LSU, so there's a chance I could still be right. UVA had their opportunities. Sucks for them but someone has to go home.
