But we're still the ones that beat UConn.

Teams that beat State this year
Kentucky
Tennessee
South Carolina

No team outside of the SEC beat State this year, way to go State!

Its the most absurd thing that we don't have players or believe in shooting the three. How the hell are you suppose to have a balanced offense when everyone and their grandmothers know Moncrief is driving the lane while Hyder comes up to body slam some chick on the screen.

Other boards are saying William mouthed off at Schafer and he benched her.

If that's the case it must have been bad or I would have waited until tomorrow to make a statement if I was the coach. Hate to hurt the whole team unless it was something bad.

Saw this on Twitter ..

State got it to 54-50, and Aja Wilson scored the next 10 points.

Does MaroonNation only post when his team isn't doing well?

my only complaints was the first half officiating. It got slightly better in the second half. Y'all deserved the win. Too fast and too physical for what our girls had left in the tank. Dawn is a classy woman and has built what should be a monster.

Hell, if this Year of the Rooster thing keeps rolling, maybe we'll end up in that top left corner, as well. Why the hell not?

William was no match for for SC's PG. was in her head all night. My issue with Vic was keeping Vivians out there.

He should have also had Dillingham take more shots. I know she sets the Defense but she was shooting better than about anyone else on the team

Year of the Pig in 2019.

Congrats to MSU and the Cocks both.

This has been one of the most fun March madnesses (men and women) in a good while imo.

Mississippi State loses Dillingham, brings in 5 star freshman who was player of the year in Mississippi three straight years and gets the transfer from Arkansas that was SEC Freshman of the Year.

Should be another year of MSU and USC dominating the SEC.

And now it appears that UTe is returning Russell, DeShields, and getting Cooper back from her injury: returning their top 4 scorers, top 3 rebounders, return their top PG from injury, plus add the overall#1 class for 2017 to the roster.

Tennessee should be right up there again as a contender for the SEC with all that 5* McD AA talent. IMO next year will truly tell the tale if Warlick can prepare a team with great talent to play to it's abilities, or if UTe needs to look elsewhere as its HC of the program.

But either way there should be three powerhouse teams in the SEC, to start with....
