Which begs the question, how does a guy who is 12-25 and 4-20 in conference games have a $12 million buyout?
The same AD who hired Joker Phillips and Billy Gillespie hired Stoops. That clear it up any?

The aggies have been pretty restrained even after a good win.

If Gus gets canned, Jacobs will go with him. Jay Jacobs has picked his last football coach at Auburn. Friggin Pat Dye needs to keep his nose of out it too.

I hope that you are right about Jacobs. I have wanted him gone for a long time. If reports were true Dye did not want Malzahn. Is it true that he wanted Kirby Smart?

I wish we were making this shite up, it's so unbelievably fricking inept. Who gives a guy a contract extension mid - year his second season before he even has a team bowl eligible? We were 5-1 after the 2 win rookie season. Barnhart liked what he was seeing on recruiting and the field and jumped the gun because allegedly Michigan and Miami were putting out feelers.

$12 mil after this season and $8 mil after next which is his last contractually. I say frick the $4 mil and pay it. Recruiting is going to tank once Gata blasts us next week. Commonwealth will be a ghost town.

It's interesting.

The barn could easily be 1 - 3 after the LSU game, which would put Malzahn at the top of the pyre.

By the same token they could be 3 - 1 and Miles would likely be gone before week 5.

Right now the road to who gets fired first runs through the Plains.

Should be a real interesting September.
