I went through the trouble of posting his season records yet you still just choose to pull shite out of your arse. Over the last 10 seasons, he’s had five 10+ win seasons.

Oh ok, 5 not 3. Huge difference

Agreed, but that's his ceiling. Can't blame fans for wanting more once they get a taste.

I guess you can say that but it’s Oklahoma State. They should be content with consistent 10 win seasons. They’re never competed for championships ever and have 0 recruiting pipeline to do so.

There’s a huge difference winning 10 games 50% of the time and 30% of the time.

It can be a lot worse than 3-8 in a one-off year. The older OK State fans know that all too well.

So that's it? Never ever be a winner and fans shouldn't want more?

Sounds pretty sad.

There’s about 12 programs that legitimately can compete for national titles.

The “wanting more” mentality can get your program turning into Arkansas over night. A good solid program that thinks it deserves national titles. Fires and hires coaches. Sorry, despite what you might think, Oklahoma State doesn’t have a chance at winning national titles. And yes, they should be content with 10 win seasons and the occasional 11 or 12.

You know they used to say this about Florida, too. And as bad as we've been we're still considered in that list because the fans want success.

Lol it’s bc Florida has elite in state talent. Not bc the fans wished upon a star.

Let me know when Oklahoma has the same in state talent as Florida.

They said this about us while FSU and Miami were winning a ton, so it's not just that.

This matters a whole lot less in 2024 forward. You buy your team now. Surely all that T Boone Pickens money hasn't dried up.

Plus I'm pretty sure University of Oklahoma is in Oklahoma but let me review my atlas.

True. But nobody likes to hear it.

Maybe LSU fans can use that excuses for losing 4 games already and potential a 5th loss this coming Saturday.

Sounds like Mike finally is at a “take it or leave it” juncture at OSU.

That statement doesn’t help whatever cause he’s promulgating. Might be true but this doesn’t help him.

I don’t believe he is ready to pick up another program either. He’s had opportunities but he never took them.

Will LSU or Arkansas try to get him?

OU has been a powerhouse because they are just across the Red River from Texas. It’s not due to in state talent.

Well you're inadvertantly making my point, talent level in Oklahoma is not a gating factor. Nebraska won, Oklahoma won, Notre Dame won, etc.

Stillwater to Norman is like seventy miles, that's not going to be difference between losing and winning.
