Saban has brought WAY more money to the university than he’s paid. Generally I agree, but not in this unique circumstance. The boost in enrollment, out of state enrollment in particular, donations, etc. is undeniable

The business of college football is also incomparable to what it was 60 years ago so trying to draw a correlation accounting for normal inflation is not persuasive in the least

I agree it’s dumb that society puts such a high value on entertainment and entertainers, but that’s the world we live in

People have been saying Saban is leaving or will not stay at Bama...blah blah blah since 2007. Sure, he'll eventually retire sometime in the near future. That's a given.

What I do find interesting is how many coaches changes have taken place at SEC schools since Sabans arrival at Alabama.....and how many more changes will we see before Saban announces his retirement.
