I don't even know what to think at this point. I think the team has quit on him.

It’s sad.

Texas can’t be dumb enough to hire a sinking ship.

Do you have $52 million for a buyout?

It really is. Living in Lexington, the level of apathy surrounding the fan base is shocking. The situation has become untenable. No matter how good the recruiting class for next season is, it’s best for both parties to go in a different direction.

Are you not aware of the details of his contract. Put it this way, if Kentucky wanted to move on after the 2024-2025 season, they’d still owe him $40 million.

I don’t see it. He’s untouchable

ICYMI, Cal has a lifetime contract - so he literally can’t be fired until every living Kentucky fan (at the time of signing) has croaked.

No chance he leaves that kind of job security behind. Sorry, Mark

Are the people who gave him that contract still around to be fired?

cal seems similar to phil fulmer in thay regard..... won a nc then had too many dis appointments since.... ky almost had 2015 but they blew it... and since too many bad seasons compared to the talent they have... i will say ky. teams tend to start out not so great bc of all the young bloods but they should be better than this.... in excusable coaching... wow
